Early access · iPhone first

Personal apps.
Built to evolve.

A private workspace for personal tools made with your AI. Keep them on your iPhone, use local features offline, and shape the next version with your agent.

Start with a useful example. Make it yours with an AI account you already have. Your agent prepares the changes; App Jam brings your tools and saved records together.

Prepare apps on the web. iPhone installation is by private TestFlight invitation.

The setup guide
01

Find your first tool.

Create and verify your App Jam account on this website. Choose a starting app and prepare its design before your phone is connected.

02

Connect your AI.

Approve a compatible agent’s prepared-app access. Describe a new tool or ask it to customize your draft. Your AI service’s charges are separate.

03

Use it. Improve it.

Sign into the same account on your phone and open App Jam online to install. Use local features offline. Ask your agent for the next version, or schedule updates where its client supports them.

Why this?

One install. A growing set of your own apps.

A home for your personal tools.

Keep games, study tools, trackers and journals together. Once you have App Jam, each new app lands in the same place.

Local records. Backups you control.

Records stay on your phone first. Encrypted backups are on by default, with global and per-app opt-outs. Provider API keys stay on-device.

Keep making it better.

Add lessons, insights or features with your agent. A compatible agent’s scheduled jobs can prepare revisions too. Normal updates preserve your saved records.

Planned: easier in-app scheduling, shared templates and live multi-device sync. Encrypted backups are available now.

How is this different from a web builder, Shortcuts or a standalone app?

Give your agent’s work a place you’ll reopen: app screens, saved records and a next version you can ask for later. Your personal apps share one installed iPhone home, with no Expo setup or separate native project for each small app.

Apple ShortcutsSequences of actions to automate tasks.App Jam focuses on reusable app screens and saved records.

Web apps can also support offline storage. App Jam’s focus is personal use inside one installed home, rather than publishing a separate app. Native screens and packaged HTML apps have different device capabilities. Product docs checked October 29, 2026.

Before you jump in

A few things to know.

A small early-access release, with room to grow.

What can my agent change?

Your authorized agent can create or revise personal tools within App Jam’s supported features. App Jam checks packages before activating them, and normal updates preserve your saved records. You control agent connections and data access. Review a tool’s permissions and connected services before using sensitive information. Package checks do not guarantee that an AI-created tool is correct or safe for every use.

How do I get early access?

Create your free account and prepare apps on the web. iPhone installation uses a private TestFlight invitation; request an invitation by email. App Jam isn’t on the App Store yet. Android and desktop hosts are planned.

Do I need an AI account?

You can start with the examples using just an App Jam account. To build or change an app, connect a compatible AI such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or Grok Bot and approve its access. Client support and account requirements vary; see the setup options.

How do Free and Pro work?

Free has hosted app, storage and service allowances. Pro raises those limits across the same App Jam account; it does not include an AI-provider subscription or live device sync. Where offered, choose monthly or yearly in Settings → Plan & usage on your iPhone. Apple shows your localized price and renewal terms before purchase. Restore or manage an existing Apple subscription there. See account-plan details.

What works offline?

After installation, local screens, games and saved records work without a connection, including after reopening. Live scores, online models and other services need the internet when used. Your agent needs a connection to build and deliver changes. Open App Jam online to install queued apps and updates.

Can my agent improve it on a schedule?

If your agent supports scheduled jobs, an authorized job can prepare and queue app updates through its App Jam connection. Scheduling runs in the agent’s service or computer; App Jam has no built-in job scheduler today. Personalized reviews need data you choose to share or explicitly authorized record access, depending on the app. Open App Jam online to install the result. See the update workflow.

What happens to my data?

Your records stay on your device first. Encrypted app-design and app-data backups are on by default, with global and per-app opt-outs. Save a recovery kit separately to restore on another device; sign-in alone can’t decrypt a backup. Provider API keys are excluded from backups. Backups are snapshots; live multi-device sync is a future feature. Read the privacy notice.
