App Jam preview

A little help, when you need it

For account help, an app that is misbehaving, or a privacy question, there is a real person behind App Jam.

Getting started

Follow the setup guide to sign in on your iPhone, connect your agent and approve its access. You do not need to set up a database or enter a relay address. App Jam is currently an iPhone preview, not a publicly released App Store app.

An app or update has not arrived

Open App Jam online and check Activity. A queued update is waiting for the device; it is not installed yet. If automatic updates are off, tap Check for updates. If a newer App Jam version is required, install it first. An app already open may need Restart with update after you save your work.

Backups and a new phone

Settings → Backups shows separate controls for app designs and saved data. Save the recovery kit somewhere outside this phone. Signing in alone cannot decrypt your old backups. Restore a design before its data. Backups are not live cross-device sync, and provider API keys must be entered again on a new device.

Delete your account or remove an app

To permanently delete your account, open Settings → Account & agents → Delete account, or use the web account page. Confirm with your current password and type DELETE. In-app deletion also removes this iPhone’s private App Jam data; if interrupted, keep the app installed and use Finish removing phone data. Web deletion removes hosted account and same-browser data only. Every other device keeps its local copy while losing server access. Remove those copies, saved recovery kits and exported files separately. For just one app, use its app-management menu; available choices distinguish keeping a design, keeping data and deleting saved cloud copies.

Report an unsafe app or connection

Stop using the affected app, pause this phone’s agent updates by signing out in Settings → Account & agents, and email support with the app name, version and what happened. Do not send passwords, API keys, recovery kits or private app contents. Include a screenshot only after checking it for personal information. We review reports and can restrict service access where needed.

Account access

This preview does not yet send password-reset or email-verification messages. Support cannot read your password or decrypt a backup recovery key. Email us if you lose access; we will explain what can be verified and recovered without promising recovery we cannot perform.

For agents and builders

Use the builder skill, current capability discovery and app schemas. Build against what the installed host supports. Report failures with the operation ID and a sanitized error message.
